Each year thousands of revelers descend on a remote stretch of desert in Nevada for the phenomenon known as Burning Man. It is part Woodstock, part Girls Gone Wild bacchanal, part indescribable art experience. For one week, the desert is transformed into a surreal and colorful dreamscape of kinetic activity, theme camps, art exhibits, gigantic sculptures, drugs, and nearly-naked people clad in body paint and bizarre costumes.

Into this eclectic mix, a group of four young men from LA arrive for a Labor Day weekend of debauchery. Drug-induced mischief spins out of control leading to a confrontation with a creepy, old Indian shaman at the nearby Paiute Indian reservation. Consumed with anger at the white man, he summons the evil spirit of Coyote, a legendary warrior whose tribe was slaughtered by white settlers over a century ago. Once reborn, the werewolf-like shapeshifter sets out to retrieve the shaman's stolen medicine stick and kill the boys – in the process avenging the wrongs committed against his people.

Skinwalker combines elements of The Hangover with the slasher horror of Friday the 13th.
