Reckless, cynical Christina Winwood is a high school cheerleader and part-time drug dealer, which isn’t easy to pull off when your dad is a well-respected cop. One day, Christina starts selling a new drug called Stairway to Heaven to her classmates. It promises a phenomenal high ten times more potent than Ecstasy. However, it has an eerie side effect – it opens your sixth sense, piercing the mystical veil that separates the world of the living from the realm of the dead. During the hallucinogenic high you can see ghosts, and because you’ve crossed over into their domain, they can affect you.

After taking a hit of the supernatural drug at the Daytona Bike Week motorcycle rally, Christina and her friends are attacked by a headless Hell's Angel on a chopper who collects the souls of sinners. This unyielding Grim Reaper seems particularly attracted to Christina because of her dark past and her dad’s secret transgressions. When decapitated bodies start showing up around town, Christina’s father, Detective Paul Winwood, is put in charge of the murder investigation. All the victims have been branded with the sign of the cross and they all consumed the mysterious drug that his daughter has been unknowingly selling to people as Ecstasy. When Christina finally uncovers the truth behind their deaths, she sets out to makes things right with the help of a psychic medium. They must save the others in town who received the Stairway to Heaven drug and somehow stop the fanatical Angel of Death before he kills again.
